News on Cailin (and TIA =D)

So... last friday I broke up with Cailin. It seemed pretty mutual. But there's a whole hidden sorta thing...

So, her name is Tia. She's a sophomore (although that's irrelevant, just thought I would mention it). Here's a picture of her...

Yeah, I know it's not a face pic, but that's the only non-blurry one I had at the moment. ANYWAY... Grandma Katie, when I was asking for advice about how to break up with Cailin, and you said "It's not like you're leaving her for someone else" and I said "Yeah", that was partly true. I would have broken up with Cailin anyway, in fact I was thinking about it before I figured out that I liked Tia... But I did know I liked Tia at the time you asked. So I lied a little bit. Sorry!

So about Tia... on the Sunday before break was over (the 4th), Tia and I had planned to go ice-skating (for about a month). So we did, and she'd been hinting for about 5 days before that anyway... So I got home, and decided to tell her that I liked her. Over text message... but that worked out, and apparently I read the hunts right, because she likes me too! Yay!

Then on friday I broke up with Cailin  and that was fine...

The Sunday after that friday Tia came over to my mom's for the day and we watched a bunch of movies. Quite fun, and my mom said it was fine that we were physically close the whole day (we didn't move from our spot on the couch much). And don't worry, no kissing... as of yet...

Haha... Anyway her friends know about me+her... Sara knows... but I'm trying to really keep it on the downlow from Cailin and her friends so that Cailin doesn't find out right now and get hurt. Although I think she's figuring it out, because Tia has started showing up at lunch and hugging me a lot... XD

Tia and I are going to watch THe Grudge 2 on Monday, since there's no school. yay....

So that's my love life situation at the moment. (my mom says I should kiss her, because "I can tell she wants to kiss you by the way she hugs you!"...) (I'll wait for the right time though. =D).

Mr. Abrams said there may be one spot for a sophomore guy to be in Chambers. :'( So either Justin Riele gets in after he shapes up, or he stays a little jerk and doesn't get it. He has a better than voice than me, and I can accept that - I would be fine with it, except he's a little kiss-up and he brags about everything. "Oh, is this song in the A-minor-second position?" "So if we make a 5th interval up to an F and then hold it for three beats..." (He NEVER shuts up about how much he knows about music. He's been playing piano for 9 years.) He's a jerk to people who aren't considered cool, but he doesn't pay attention in choir and ends up singing my part because he doesn't know his well enough to stay in it (there's one song - "Go Tell It On the Mountain" - that I sing melody the whole way through.) Parts of it I sing 2nd tenor, some parts I sing 1st tenor. He's a second tenor. So when I switch up to 1st tenor, he does too. Then Robert has to hit him to get him to switch back. ... But other than that he's made everyone lose points one day because he was so bad.  There are also other examples, but I'm already ranting. I don't want this to be a SUPER-rant. Anyway, Mr. A I think is starting to get annoyed with him, but at times he acts like Justin is his favorite. Which annoys me soooo bad. Partly because I'm jealous, yeah. But also because of the way he treats other people. Bleh.

In other news... I asked Cailin (homecoming date) out on Friday. I had a rose, and she said yes, although I knew she would, since she has a crush on me. So yeah. =D When she told Nisha she FREAKED.

In other other news... I volunteered at the Elf Workshop yesterday, and I did the facepainting. Meredith, Lauren, Jade, and Breanna were there. Here's the aftermath...

I have a weird funky-looking snowflake on the other hand, but yeah. I drew the tree and reindeer on myself! Meredith did the I love cailin thing. I let her though. XD
