Music in the Park

So apparently Danville holds a summer series of "Music in the Park" every summer, where they have bands perform in Oak Hill Park. I saw a banner for it in Downtown Danville and thought I'd go. So my dad and I took Miles, and the local band they had was Aja Vu. They're a Steely Dan tribute band, and they were good! Oak Hill Park is about 43 acres, and the speakers that were set up made it so we could hear the music from across the park! I could probably fit about one set in my entire room. Anyway, it was fun. The even was from 6-8, and as it started getting darker they turned on little color lights and stuff. It was cool. When Miles and I got tired of sitting down listening, we took a hike in the hills so Miles could show me the path he had to take for cross-country. I feel bad for him... at least he doesn't have to do cross-country anymore! But the whole time we could hear the music. When we got back, we played with a blow-up beach ball we found and then at the very end all three of us were playing catch and then we were all dancing in with the big group of middle-aged adults. It was funny to watch them, especially this one lady who was trying to be cool and was doing some really funny moves. It was a fun experience. I'll have to go next summer!
